I’ve had this domain for more than a decade, and it’s been pretty bare for most of that time.
I settled on WordPress back in 2011 after I stopped trying to keep up with what web standards were doing. After briefly experimenting with Spun by Caroline Moore, I settled on Writr as a theme appropriate for someone who’s finally getting to writing a decade’s worth of blog post ideas.
I’m also experimenting with Livefyre as a comments handler in an attempt to bridge the divide between audiences of mine on Facebook and Twitter. To completely contrast the invasiveness of Livefyre, I’ve installed the 2 Click Social Media Buttons extension, which allows for “opt in” social media sharing without tracking everyone else. Let’s see which one survives.
